This is stealthable.

Going after chests and collectibles increases the difficulty and may jeopardize you stealth success.

There are a fair number of rares that can spawn to keep it fresh each time.

The Depths of Despair - L4 - F2P Empty My First Stealth Attempt

I used a 3rd level Gnome rogue 2/wizard 1. Ran on Normal. This toon was not set up for stealthing.

Ten kills. Made some mistakes. Could have been one.

Mistakes:

  • Somehow the Rust Monster spotted me hidden behind fallen blocks while I was in sneak mode and not moving.  Hmmm... Then two zombies picked up on my presence. Four kills because I rushed trying to get past the third.
  • Got greedy and went after the chest by the Minotaur. One kill.
  • The Hell Hound surprised me. Yeah, Spot skill sucks on this toon. Gave me one kill.
  • Rare Rust Monster and one troglodite spotted me. Two kills.
  • Was too impatient with the end boss which resulted in 2 kills.
